When will I be charged for my order?
Payment processing may occur immediately when the order is placed, when a merchant accepts the order, or once an item or the entire order ships. Keep in mind that an authorization hold may be placed on your account once your order is placed.
If you decide to cancel your order within the 30-minute cancelation window after the order is placed, your bank will either credit or remove the authorization hold from your statement.
Why was I charged twice for my order?
If our payment processor has trouble capturing your payment on its first attempt, our system will make a second attempt to process the payment. You may see a duplicate charge on your statement that is authorized, but not captured as a result.
Not to worry, you will not be charged twice for the order.
Depending on your bank’s policies, you may see this duplicate/pending charge credited or completely removed from your statement within the next 10 business days, but it could take longer. Please contact your bank to verify how long it may take for the charge to be removed.
Why do I have a $1 charge from Wish?
A temporary authorization hold may be placed on your account to verify that Wish will be able to charge your payment method when you place an order.
Most banks will process these requests so that they don't appear as a charge. In some cases, this charge will be marked as pending on your statement and should disappear within 10 business days.
Why didn’t my order go through?
Here are a few reasons why orders fail or why a payment is declined:
- The payment method entered at checkout has expired
- The account has insufficient funds
- The credit card was reported as stolen or the credit card account is frozen
- The product you’d like to purchase cannot ship to your country
To avoid payment failures, make sure the information you enter at checkout is correct, up to date, and matches your current billing details. If you are using a debit card, it must have a Card Verification Value number (CVV) and can be billed as a credit card.
I've been overcharged for my order. What should I do?
The price of items on Wish may vary and depend on a few factors:
- The size or color choice
- The merchant’s selling price
- The shipping price
Merchants set their own prices for each item and it's possible for different merchants to sell the same product at different prices.
If you believe you’ve been overcharged, you can cancel your purchase within the 30-minute cancelation window after placing the order.
I see a charge from Wish I don’t recognize.
