How does the EU VAT work?

The new rules will apply to all sales that have a time of supply for VAT purposes of 1 July 2021 or later.

For example, if an order is placed and payment received on 30 June 2021 then the new rules will not apply, even if dispatch and delivery take place after 1 July 2021.For orders placed prior to July 1, 2021, VAT wasn’t included in the total price of your order. Due to this, your item may be held at customs until the VAT is paid. 

Worry not, we got you covered! Please pay for the VAT and we’ll give you a refund for it (up to 25% of the original item price). After paying for the VAT, please keep your invoice as proof of payment and reach out to our support team for further assistance.

After July 1, 2021, you won’t have to go through this again. Item prices on Wish will include VAT, which will be collected on all purchases and sent on your behalf.
