Who submits product and merchant reviews?
Customers like you! You can count on the product reviews and merchant ratings because real Wish customers submit them. Only customers who have bought the item directly from a merchant on the Wish marketplace can leave reviews.
How do you sort reviews?
We know it can be time-consuming to sift through all those reviews. That’s why we sort them so you can find helpful, honest reviews to help you shop confidently.
We use a rule-based algorithm that sorts product reviews by comments we think will be most helpful to you. You can manually sort reviews by "most helpful". You can also filter reviews to show only reviews in your local language and/or reviews that include actual customer photos.
How do I rate or review an item?
Keep in mind that you will only be able to leave a review for a product you have purchased on the Wish platform.
To rate and review an item, follow the steps below for your preferred shopping method.
Mobile App
- Open the app menu by tapping the icon on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Order History.
- Navigate to the item you wish to rate and review.
- Tap Rate your purchase.
- Tap to select the star rating and/or answer that corresponds to your rating.
- Leave comments in the empty comment box (click here to learn more about what makes a great review!). When you’re done, tap Next.
- Upload a photo and/or video of your item (optional).
- Rate your experience with the Merchant.
- Tap Next after completing each page or to skip optional questions.
- Tap Finish to submit your rating, or Rate Next Item to rate other items in the same order.
Web
- Go to your Order History.
- Navigate to the item you wish to rate and review.
- Click the number of stars you’d like to give the product and click Next.
- Leave comments for the item in the comment boxes.
- Rate your experience with the Merchant.
- Upload a photo or video where you’re prompted (optional).
- Click Done to submit your completed rating/review.
How do I edit my rating or review?
To edit your rating or review for an item, follow the steps below for your device type.
Mobile App
- Open the app menu by tapping the icon on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Order History.
- Navigate to the item for which you wish to update your rating/review.
- Tap Edit your rating and follow the prompts.
- Tap to change the star rating and/or answer that corresponds to your rating.
- Leave or edit your comment or review.
- Upload or re-upload a photo and/or video of your item (optional).
- Tap Next after completing each page or to skip optional questions.
- Tap Finish to submit your updated rating, or Rate Next Item to rate other items in the same order.
Web
- Go to your Order History.
- Navigate to the item you wish to rate/review.
- Click the star rating and follow the prompts.
- Leave or edit comments or reviews.
- Upload or re-upload a photo and/or video of your item (optional).
- Click Done to submit your updated rating/review.
Can I delete my rating or review?
Customers cannot delete their product ratings or reviews at this time. However, you can go back to the item on your order history and edit your rating or review at any time.
Keep in mind that Wish will never modify customer reviews. However, we reserve the right to remove a review that violates our policies.
Can I hide my name from my review?
At this time, you cannot hide your profile name from your product reviews. You’re welcome to change your profile name through your Account Settings.
What if I suspect a review is fake?
As part of our 'Manipulated Customer Reviews and Rating Policy', we launched a new process where customers, merchants, and other third parties can report fake or manipulated reviews on Wish.
If you spot a review that may not be an honest reflection of a customer’s experience with the product, merchant, or service, we encourage you to report it by directly emailing us at reportmanipulatedreviews@wish.com. We investigate each report thoroughly and take necessary actions.

Review guidelines
Wish values diverse opinions, so you may disagree with some content that you come across. Keep in mind that something that may be disagreeable to you may not violate our Guidelines. In order to maintain a welcoming environment for all users, your participation in the Community must always be respectful of others. In particular:

Don't post content that is libelous, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or inflammatory. For example, don't use obscenities or profanity, and don't express hatred or intolerance for people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender or gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disability, including by promoting organizations with such views.

Don't post content that is obscene, pornographic, or lewd, or that contains nudity or sexually explicit images.

Don't post content that invades others' privacy. For example, don't post other people's phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, or other personal information, and don't post links to phishing or other malware sites.

Don't impersonate other people or organizations or pretend to be someone or something you're not.

Don't attempt to drown out other people's opinions, including by posting from multiple accounts or coordinating with others.

Don't engage in name-calling or attack people based on whether you agree with them.

You may question the beliefs and expertise of others as long as it is relevant and done in a respectful and non-threatening manner.
